So You Know™ exists because the most important things in our lives are often the ones we say last, or never say at all. We built a quiet place to fix that — before the moment passes.
It's remembering to say it when life gets loud.
It's calling the grandparent we've been meaning to call. It's recording the answers to the questions we'll never get to ask again. It's telling our kids — or the version of them that exists ten years from now — what we wish someone had told us at their age.
Most people don't fail to feel these things. They fail to make space for them. Real life is busy. Schedules collide. The phone rings and we don't pick up. And then one day the chance is gone.
So You Know exists to fix that, gently and on purpose. One voice at a time. One person at a time. One quiet moment at a time.
There are no feeds, no followers, no audience. Every message goes to someone specific, by name, on purpose.
Even if you stop subscribing, your recordings remain in your private archive. We will never sell, share, or monetize your voice or your data.
You won't see advertisements here, ever. We're funded by the people who choose to subscribe — not by the people whose data we sell.
Sometimes the words you carry need more than a text. They need your voice, recorded in your own time, delivered at the right one.
I grew up in a large family, the kind that's always on the go — sports, drives, late dinners, never quite enough time to sit down and really listen. We loved each other loudly, but the quiet moments were rare.
My grandmother was the soul of all of it. Harsh sometimes, but the kindest, sweetest, most loving person I've ever known. When I moved away for college, I made sure to call her nearly every day. Twelve years later, I was still calling. And when she entered hospice in 2024, I found myself asking questions I'd been carrying for years — and listening, really listening, to her answers.
Every year on my birthday, she would call to sing. One year I asked her to call back so I could save the voicemail. I still have it. I will never delete it.
So many people I've talked to since carry the same regrets — lost voicemails, forgotten last conversations, words they meant to say and didn't. So You Know exists so that doesn't have to be the story anymore.
